Manulife Executive Group & Conference Floor

Gensler was engaged to imagine a new home for Manulife’s Executive Leadership Group, which manages and oversees the financial services firm’s global operations. The group wanted a highly functioning, progressive workspace to support focused work while also enabling communication among team members. Manulife’s new workplace is 100% open plan with height-adjustable desks and the ability to host small desk-side meetings. The open work setting is balanced with a generous amount of private break-out spaces and meeting rooms. At the heart of the executive wing is the Innovation Hub with flexible furniture and the latest technology. A retractable partition provides the opportunity to combine the Innovation Hub with the adjacent cafe, doubling the size of the Hub. Designed for flexibility, the conference center supports gatherings of various sizes across three meeting spaces with an additional four breakout rooms. The pre-function area opens to two expansive terraces for outdoor meetings and events.
